Who has the power? - The Challenge:

Pakistan is humid and hot country that faces numerous challenges. Chief amongst them are electricity problems. Millions are affected by daily power outages, whether due to the cost of electricity or frequent disruptions. If only there were a cost-effective way to get consistent power?

This is where SkyElectric stepped in - entering a market with a complete solution, providing the panels, the inverters, and the software needed to efficiently utilize solar power. After the traditional media-based launch of SkyElectric in 2019, our objective in 2021 was to reach new audiences.

But, how could we convince people to abandon the known and step into a future they had little knowledge of?

Spread solar across Pakistan - The Objective:

The brand wanted to grow their reach, attract new customers, and spread the benefits of solar power across the country. Their USP was their proprietary software and their ability to produce their own products rather than mixing other brands together like their competitors.

This objective was challenged by targets to reach 20,000-23,000 leads each month. A feat which seemed impossible at first, but with a little creative thinking, we were able match their expectations and eventually exceed them.

Empower yourself - The Campaign:

We relaunched SkyElectric in 2021 on digital with a celebrity featured video, customer testimonials, and animations. Additionally, we promoted a Referral App to audiences to earn cash rewards for each time someone they recommended buys a system. Hundreds of customers and fans shared SkyElectric with their friends and family to help the environment and be rewarded. Though what truly helped us gain leads was a Facebook Lead Generation Campaign, which helped us greatly exceed client expectations at every turn – with our first month generating nearly 3 times as many leads as requested by the client.

Our campaign was based on educating the audience about solar and the potential savings they could enjoy by switching over. We also emphasized solar power’s ability to allow customers to control their electric supply – something which resonated greatly with our audience.

In the end, it was a combination of several things that helped us and the client exceed our goals. We reached the sky…and we got very close.
